“It will pass” – a solo performance for everyone who loves (or doesn’t love) theatre. This immersive monoperformance, which has won awards at various theatre festivals, invites the audience to explore what is usually hidden. The play does not leave the audience alone and seeks to answer frequently asked questions about theatre. If you’ve always been curious about how actors learn so much text, how they not only “enter” but also “exit” a role, and what it feels like to perform in a “good” or “bad” play – this performance is for you.
This solo performance continues the theme of Tertelis’ first play “PRA – a one-act solo play for a beginner actor” but in the current performance, the actor views the relationship between theatre and society not from the perspective of a beginner, but from that of an experienced, middle-aged theatre creator. Through a general dialogue with the audience, he reflects on and questions established societal norms about theatre and culture, exploring the paradoxical situations in the lives of creators. The actor invites us to ask ourselves: Why do we still go to the theatre today? What kind of theatre and culture do we really need?
