In Taiwanese culture, there is a concept of “Jitong”, who lends their body and voice to the gods to heal or resolve doubts for others. They are also known as spokespersons for the gods. In “The Whisper of the Waves” performance, the Jitong image is transformed into a theatrical form.
This workshop will guide participants to empty their expressions, return to a neutral posture, free their pelvis, and then infuse their character image, becoming a unique spokesperson for their character.
The workshop is intended for actors, but everyone, who wants to watch their progress, is invited. The event is free.
