NEW. For the first time, the TheATRIUM festival is hosting a discussion open to the public. Foreign theater professionals visiting the festival’s Lithuanian theater showcase will exchange ideas about the importance and challenges of contemporary theater. Representing different countries, cultural environments, and having very diverse relationships with audience communities, these people will seek answers about the essence of theater.
Listeners who come to the discussion are invited to actively participate – to raise their own questions and share insights.
The discussion will be moderated by the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Vilnius University, philosopher and sinologist Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vytis Silius.
The event is free.
Duration up to 2 hours.
The conversation will be held in English with translation into Lithuanian.
