The showcase of the Lithuanian theatre will be closed by a party in one of Klaipeda’s iconic leisure spaces. During it, we will dilute the melancholy of farewell with promises to meet next year and live theatrical dreams with open eyes through inspiring music.
The musical aura of the evening will be created by Monikaze, a guest from Vilnius, and montag tanzen collective, beloved by the port city audience.
Monikaze: is a new-generation electronic music artist; her work can be described, as avant-pop, inspired by IDM, electronic music, jazz, and other styles, where combinations of synthetic and acoustic sounds intertwine and effected vocals. She received a “M.A.M.A” award as “Electronic Music Artist of the Year” in 2021. In 2023, she was among 15 rising European music talents nomintated for the prestigious European Music Awards “Music Moves Europe 2023”.
The trinity of montag tanzen unfolds into complementary and gently contrasting members: Lukas Feser loves basketball. As the one-on-one combination is his favorite option in the decisive battle, at the party, he promises to demonstrate it with the help of Afro and indie dance beats. Saulius listens to everything: from psychedelic to forgotten Lithuanian pop music, so he causes chaos on the dance floor. At “TheATRIUM” party, he will share indie dance, afro-house, and disco sounds. The respected one is a linguist and English language teacher during the day, and also at night, but he also dances in various rhythms. Disco and fast ghetto house homework will be assigned at the party.
